Signourney Weaver attended Yale Drama School before she snagged a starring role in Madman. She broke out as a top actress for her protrayal of Ripley in the Alien films. Supporting roles in The Year of Living Dangerously and Ghostbusters kept her ontop for most of the eighties. In 1986, Weaver nabbed not one, but two Oscar nods for her work in Working Girl and Gorillas in the Mist.
