Nathan Lane and Matthew Broderick brings their Broadway musical The Producers to the big screen. They play two hustlers who want to bilk their investors by making a musical flop. However, the resulting 'Springtime for Hitler' becomes the surprise hit of the season. Mel Brooks and Thomas Meehan script the film, which was originally made in 1968. Susan Stroman directs the remake.
