Unbreakable is writer-director M. Night Shyamalan's follow-up to last year's The Sixth Sense, which garnered him an Oscar nomination for Best Original Screenplay. Unbreakable has drawn comparisons with its predecessor due to its similar tone, cast, supernatural subject matter, and twist ending. Bruce Willis stars as a security guard who is the sole survivor of a train accident. He begins to realize his mysterious powers with the help of a comic book dealer, played by Samuel L. Jackson. In Unbreakable, Shyamalan has crafted a superhero story grounded in real life.
