Although early fall buzz was strong for Hayek and Frida, the film biography of the famed Mexican artist Frida Kahlo, excitement has cooled somewhat in recent weeks. That's through no fault of Hayek, who earned solid reviews from critics for her vibrant portrayal of a truly tortured artist. For her efforts, Hayek was nominated for Best Actress in a Motion Picture, Drama by the Hollywood Foreign Press.

Thirteen HSX NominOptions will be issued in each of the eight major categories. Each NominOption is offered at H$5.00. The NominOptions will halt trading at 9p.m. EST on Monday, February 10th in preparation for Tuesday, February 11th, when Oscar nominations will be announced by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
