In what may be the most personal film director Roman Polanski has ever made, The Pianist details a remarkable true story of survival in World War II. Polanski, himself a Holocaust survivor, won the prestigious Palme d'Or from the Cannes Film Festival, and the movie was also named best of the year by the National Society of Film Critics. Despite his long-time legal troubles, Polanski has been nominated for a Best Director Oscar twice before.

Thirteen HSX NominOptions will be issued in each of the eight major categories. Each NominOption is offered at H$5.00. The NominOptions will halt trading at 9 p.m. EST on Monday, Feb. 10, in preparation for Tuesday, Feb. 11, when Oscar nominations will be announced by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
Each option of a nominated film or star will cash out at H$13.00, while those NominOptions failing to secure a nomination will delist at H$0.00.
