Douglas Sirk himself was never nominated for an Academy Award, but Todd Haynes' valentine to his 1950s films is a serious Oscar contender. The beautifully rendered melodrama Far From Heaven has already been named best film of the year by the New York Circle of Film Critics, and Haynes could land both writing and directing Oscar nods as well.

NominOptions allow traders to buy and sell the hottest Oscar contenders with these exclusive securities centered around the 75th Academy Awards. The leading contenders for nominations are being offered in each of the eight major award categories.
Thirteen HSX NominOptions will be issued in each of the eight major categories. Each NominOption is offered at H$5.00. The NominOptions will halt trading at 9 p.m. EST on Monday, Feb. 10, in preparation for Tuesday, Feb. 11, when Oscar nominations will be announced by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
Each option of a nominated film or star will cash out at H$13.00, while those NominOptions failing to secure a nomination will delist at H$0.00.
