It's been a banner year for Quaid, who in addition to his hailed portrayal of The Rookie's aging baseballer, also gave an acclaimed supporting performance in Todd Haynes' Far From Heaven. His Heavenly turn earned the veteran and popular thesp acting honors from the New York Film Critics, and a double Oscar nom for it and The Rookie would make him the first man to pull off the double since Al Pacino in 1992.

NominOptions allow traders to buy and sell the hottest Oscar contenders with these exclusive securities centered around the 75th Academy Awards. The leading contenders for nominations are being offered in each of the eight major award categories.
Thirteen HSX NominOptions will be issued in each of the eight major categories. Each NominOption is offered at H$5.00. The NominOptions will halt trading at 9 p.m. EST on Monday, Feb. 10, in preparation for Tuesday, Feb. 11, when Oscar nominations will be announced by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
Each option of a nominated film or star will cash out at H$13.00, while those NominOptions failing to secure a nomination will delist at H$0.00.
