The documnetary Man on Wire is about Frenchman Philippe Petit, who tightrope walked between the Twin Towers in 1974. The film recounts the intense preparation that went into the act. Petit studied the buildings and surroundings for close to a year. Using real footage and dramatic re-enactment, the film details Petit’s dedication to completing the act.
